About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Structural Engineer to join their design team, offering remote work from anywhere in the UK, with key project involvement in Sunderland . You will be responsible for the structural design of various building projects, ensuring safety, stability, and efficiency. This role requires a strong analytical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural components and systems for various construction projects.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD and relevant software.
• Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to achieve project goals.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the design and construction phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer , with a portfolio showcasing design projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Revit Structure).
• Thorough understanding of material science and structural principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong communication skills for team collaboration.
