About the Role

Our client, a prominent engineering consultancy, is looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join their esteemed team in Belfast . Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural systems using relevant software and engineering principles for various building types.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for structural elements.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, project managers, and construction teams to achieve project objectives.
• Identify and resolve structural design challenges and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and industry standards .

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer , preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer) and AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of material properties and structural behaviour.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
