About the Role

Our client seeks a talented and innovative Structural Engineer to join their prestigious consultancy in Manchester . You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the structural integrity of a wide range of construction projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with all relevant building regulations and codes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various construction projects using specialized software.
• Develop detailed structural drawings , specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure design integration.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• MSc or MEng in Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Professional Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it is highly desirable.
• Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Robot Structural Analysis).
• Strong understanding of materials science, mechanics of structures, and construction methods.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for structural integrity .
