Our client seeks a talented and innovative Structural Engineer to join their prestigious consultancy in Manchester . You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the structural integrity of a wide range of construction projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with all relevant building regulations and codes. Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for various construction projects using specialized software.
- Develop detailed structural drawings , specifications, and calculations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure design integration.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- MSc or MEng in Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Professional Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it is highly desirable.
- Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Robot Structural Analysis).
- Strong understanding of materials science, mechanics of structures, and construction methods.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for structural integrity .
