Structural Design Engineer
Location: London or Manchester
Salary: 40k - 50k dependent on experience

With 200+ employees across the UK and Ireland, they work on a diverse range of projects for high-profile private and public-sector clients. They are now looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join their collaborative team.
The Role
Working alongside Senior and Associate Engineers, you will be involved in a range of structural engineering projects while developing your technical, project management and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake structural engineering design and analysis. Prepare, present and check drawings and calculations. Brief and support Technicians and Graduate Engineers. Attend site and project team meetings. Carry out occasional site surveys and inspections. Contribute to design reviews, bids and fee proposals. Develop project management, resource planning and commercial skills. Support junior team members and contribute to their development. Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and company QMS.About You
Relevant structural engineering experience within a consultancy. Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering. Experience producing structural calculations and drawings. Strong technical, communication and organisational skills. Collaborative approach with an interest in architecture and the built environment. Passionate about sustainable design. Already working towards Chartered Engineer status or keen to progress towards chartership.This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive engineer looking to develop their career within an innovative and sustainability-focused practice.
