About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and customer-focused Student Accommodation Manager to oversee their portfolio of student housing in Cambridge . This role is crucial for ensuring a positive and supportive living experience for students, managing all aspects of property operations, resident services, and facility maintenance. You will act as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and university partners, addressing concerns promptly and efficiently. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the student welfare and operational success of purpose-built student accommodation in a historic university city, working within a professional and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operations of student accommodation buildings.
- Handling resident enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Overseeing the lettings process, including viewings, contract signing, and move-in/move-out procedures.
- Coordinating with maintenance teams and external contractors to ensure properties are well-maintained and safe.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and housing regulations for student accommodation.
- Building positive relationships with university stakeholders and local community partners in Cambridge .
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management, student accommodation, or hospitality management.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with empathy for student needs.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with property management software and systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of student housing market dynamics in Cambridgeshire is a plus.
