The Student Engagement Officer Role As a Student Engagement Officer, you'll have the autonomy to develop exciting opportunities that encourage students to participate, develop confidence and engage with college life. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the college's enrichment and student engagement programme Organising activities, events and residential trips Championing student voice through Student Union initiatives and learner forums Recruiting and supporting Student Ambassadors Building an alumni network Working alongside the Marketing Team to promote student life Developing partnerships with local businesses, charities and organisations across Kingston upon Thames Creating opportunities that connect students with the wider Kingston upon Thames community What We're Looking For The successful Student Engagement Officer will be: Creative, organised and highly motivated Confident working independently with a high level of autonomy Passionate about improving opportunities for young adults with SEND An excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships Familiar with the Kingston upon Thames area and enthusiastic about developing links with local employers, businesses and community organisations Comfortable managing multiple projects and bringing new ideas to lifeA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous, as the Student Engagement Officer will regularly engage with organisations across Kingston upon Thames and surrounding areas.
