Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major highways infrastructure project based in Cambridge on a 12-month contract, with a start date of 18th August.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain programme.
- Preparing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and other project documentation.
- Monitoring quality and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications.
- Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager with planning, reporting and commercial awareness.
- Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on highways or major civil engineering projects.
- Good understanding of NEC contracts.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to lead site teams effectively.
