Subsea Engineer - Project Delivery

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Subsea Engineer to join their project delivery team in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK . This role is crucial for the successful execution of complex subsea projects, from design through to installation and commissioning. You will be responsible for the technical integrity and performance of subsea equipment and systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subsea engineering principles and a proven ability to manage technical challenges in demanding offshore environments, contributing to the successful development of vital energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and select subsea equipment, including trees, manifolds, and pipelines.
• Develop technical specifications and review vendor documentation for subsea components.
• Oversee the fabrication, testing, and installation of subsea systems.
• Provide technical support during offshore installation and commissioning phases.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and codes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project management, operations, and other engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in subsea engineering , with a focus on project delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of subsea hardware, installation methods, and integrity management.
• Experience with subsea control systems and umbilical is advantageous.
• Strong project engineering skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
