About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly competent Subsea Engineer to join their remote engineering team, supporting projects globally from a remote-first perspective. This role is crucial for the design, specification, and lifecycle management of subsea production systems, including pipelines, structures, and equipment. You will collaborate with project managers, offshore installation teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the successful execution of subsea projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze subsea infrastructure, including pipelines, manifolds, risers, and christmas trees.
- Develop technical specifications for subsea equipment and services.
- Oversee the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of subsea systems.
- Conduct integrity management and risk assessments for subsea assets.
- Collaborate with EPC contractors and vendors to ensure technical compliance.
- Provide technical support for subsea operations and troubleshoot field issues remotely.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in subsea engineering within the Oil & Gas industry .
- Strong knowledge of subsea equipment, materials, and installation methods.
- Experience with pipeline design and analysis software (e.g., Orcaflex, Flexcom).
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., DNV, API).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering.
