About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Subsea Process Engineer to contribute to innovative projects based in Coventry . This role focuses on the design, analysis, and optimization of subsea processing systems, playing a key part in enhancing oil and gas recovery from challenging offshore fields. You will be instrumental in developing concepts, performing FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), and supporting detailed design activities for subsea processing facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, technologically advanced projects within a leading engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize process designs for subsea processing facilities, including separation, compression, and injection systems.
- Perform steady-state and transient process simulations using industry-standard software.
- Conduct safety reviews, such as HAZOP studies, for subsea process designs.
- Prepare process design documents, including P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment specifications.
- Liaise with multidisciplinarity teams, including structural, mechanical, and controls engineers.
- Provide technical support during the fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases of subsea projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering , with specific experience in subsea oil and gas processing.
- Proficiency with process simulation software like HYSYS or OLGA.
- Strong understanding of subsea equipment , multiphase flow, and separation technologies.
- Experience in FEED and detailed design phases for offshore facilities.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
