About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly competent Subsea Systems Engineer to join their innovative team in Plymouth . This role focuses on the design, installation, and maintenance of complex subsea infrastructure for the offshore energy sector. You will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and performance of subsea production systems, umbilical, pipelines, and associated equipment. This position requires a deep technical understanding of subsea operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a challenging marine environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, specify, and analyze subsea production equipment , including Xmas trees, manifolds, and tie-ins.
- Develop installation procedures and support offshore operations through onshore technical assistance.
- Conduct integrity management assessments and develop maintenance strategies for subsea assets.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., API, ISO) and client specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project management, naval architecture, and field operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in subsea engineering , with a strong focus on system design and integrity.
- Proficiency with relevant subsea engineering software and analysis tools.
- Experience with subsea installation techniques and offshore support operations.
- Excellent technical communication and teamwork skills.
