Supplier Quality Engineer

A Supplier Quality Engineer role is open in Aldershot, Hampshire with a premium distributor of electrical and electronic connector solutions specialising in the automotive sector.

Role Overview

As Supplier Quality Engineer you will support the management and continuous improvement of supplier quality performance. The position is a development role focused on automotive IATF or ISO9001 standards and root‑cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier onboarding and qualification activities.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics.
• Identify and drive corrective actions using root‑cause analysis.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of supplier improvement plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve customer‑satisfaction and compliance goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive IATF or ISO9001 standards.
• Solid understanding of root‑cause analysis methodologies.
• Background in supplier onboarding, performance monitoring, and improvement.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
