Supply Chain Analyst - FMCG

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team in Belfast , Northern Ireland, supporting their extensive FMCG business. This role is essential for optimizing inventory levels, improving logistics efficiency, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from production to consumers. You will leverage data and advanced analytical techniques to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and implement solutions that reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts in collaboration with sales and marketing teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor key supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, stock availability, transportation costs) and report on performance.
• Support the planning and execution of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Implement process improvements and best practices within the supply chain function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Experience with inventory management techniques and forecasting methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
