About the Role
Our client, a leader in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote team. This role is critical in optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and distribution. You will leverage data analysis to identify trends, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, operations) to implement supply chain solutions.
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising costs.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance and insights.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Supply Chain Analyst or similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
