About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team, remotely supporting their business based in Sunderland . This role is essential for optimizing the company's supply chain performance, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all logistical operations within the FMCG sector . You will leverage data to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, sales) to forecast demand and plan inventory levels.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and work to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
- Provide analytical support for strategic supply chain projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a similar analytical role, ideally in FMCG .
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations.
