About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to optimize operations within the FMCG sector. Based in Manchester , you will play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall performance of the supply chain network. This hybrid role offers a blend of strategic analysis and hands-on problem-solving, collaborating closely with logistics, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. You'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to supply chain excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
- Support inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and costs.
- Assist in forecasting demand and planning production schedules to meet market needs.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance for management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics role, preferably within FMCG .
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business, or a related field.
