Supply Chain Analyst - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to optimize operations within their FMCG business, based in or near Liverpool . This role is integral to ensuring the efficient flow of goods from sourcing to the end consumer, focusing on inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics. You will play a key part in identifying areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements, and driving cost savings across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
• Monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and report on performance against targets.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain execution.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of product launches and promotional activities from a supply chain perspective.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Familiarity with supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and forecasting methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
