Supply Chain Analyst - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team in Belfast , supporting their extensive FMCG business. This role is critical in optimising inventory levels, improving logistical efficiency, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to market. You will be responsible for collecting and analysing supply chain data, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions that reduce costs and enhance service levels. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse supply chain data, including inventory levels, transportation costs, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key supply chain metrics and KPIs.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to implement changes and monitor their impact.
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise waste.
• Support the development and implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
