About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their growing team in Leeds , within the fast-paced FMCG sector. This role is essential for optimizing inventory levels, improving forecasting accuracy, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our client's supply chain operations. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying bottlenecks, and developing data-driven recommendations to streamline processes from procurement to delivery. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain principles, excellent analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic FMCG environment .
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels across multiple distribution points.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, stockout rates, and inventory turnover, reporting on performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated forecasting models to improve demand planning accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or operations within the FMCG industry .
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid setting.
