Supply Chain Analyst - Remote Focus

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team, supporting manufacturing operations in Glasgow . This role will focus on optimizing the flow of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and enhancing overall efficiency. While the role offers a significant degree of remote work flexibility, periodic on-site presence in Glasgow will be required for key meetings, team collaborations, and on-the-ground analysis. You will play a vital part in ensuring a robust and responsive supply chain for our client's diverse product lines across the UK .

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, logistics, and supplier performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, production, sales) and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize advanced analytics and modeling tools to forecast demand and plan resource allocation.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in supply chain analysis or operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team, with occasional travel to Glasgow .
