About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data to identify trends, optimize processes, and reduce costs. Your insights will directly influence strategic decision-making, improving efficiency and effectiveness across the entire logistics network. This role requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement within a virtual team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain performance data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize logistics networks to ensure timely delivery.
- Research and recommend new technologies or strategies to enhance supply chain operations.
- Support the procurement and logistics teams with data-driven insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
