Supply Chain Analyst (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, working remotely from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in developing reports, forecasts, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making related to inventory, procurement, and distribution. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to supply chain performance, inventory levels, and transportation costs.
• Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and propose data-backed solutions.
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement supply chain improvements.
• Research industry best practices and emerging trends to advise on strategic supply chain initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations.
• Strong report-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
