Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team in Belfast . In this role, you will be responsible for optimising inventory levels, improving logistics efficiency, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the supply chain. You will work closely with procurement, production, and distribution teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimise inventory levels.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and inventory management, reporting on deviations and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
• Develop and maintain supply chain models to support strategic decision-making and operational planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise risks within the supply chain.
• Support the procurement team in vendor selection and performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or specialised supply chain software.
• Understanding of inventory management principles, logistics operations, and demand forecasting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
