About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team, working remotely from Belfast . This role is crucial for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes for our FMCG products, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery to our customers. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, recommending improvements, and supporting strategic planning initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of a global supply chain from a remote setting, driving key performance indicators and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain supply chain performance dashboards and reports using relevant software tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, sales) and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in demand forecasting, inventory management, and network optimization initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor key supply chain metrics and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably within FMCG.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
