Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations in Southampton . This role is essential for optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our client's supply chain network, ensuring timely product delivery and cost management. You will utilize data analysis to identify areas for improvement, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to the smooth flow of goods from production to the end consumer, working in a hybrid model that balances office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain reports on key supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, lead times, and transportation costs.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and work to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Assist in the development of optimal logistics and distribution strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations role, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Familiarity with supply chain management software and concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
