About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote operations team. This critical role will focus on optimizing and streamlining our supply chain processes within the FMCG sector , ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. You will leverage data analytics to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and implement improvements across logistics, inventory management, and procurement. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts, working closely with sales and production teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock management, minimizing carrying costs and stock-outs.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure efficient transportation and warehousing operations.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance, KPIs, and recommendations for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or operations, preferably within the FMCG industry .
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote work setting.
