About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their remote team, supporting operations across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. You will play a vital part in optimizing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and enhancing overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stock-outs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to align on supply chain strategies.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain operations.
- Support the development and implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and logistics principles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
