About the Role

Our client, a dynamic force in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team, operating remotely and supporting business in Sunderland . This role is vital for optimizing inventory levels, improving logistics efficiency, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from production to the end consumer. You will leverage data analysis to identify bottlenecks, reduce costs, and enhance the overall performance of our supply chain network, contributing to greater efficiency and customer satisfaction across the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports for management.
• Collaborate with logistics partners and internal teams to improve transportation and warehousing efficiency.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies within the supply chain.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG industry .
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI software).
• Familiarity with supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
