Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team in Wolverhampton . This role focuses on evaluating and improving various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting. You will leverage data and technology to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and contribute to the overall optimization of the supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory, logistics, and operations.
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to optimize stock levels.
• Evaluate carrier performance and provide recommendations for cost savings and service enhancements.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve supply chain objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role within logistics or operations.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and potentially BI software.
• Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
• Good communication and presentation skills to convey findings effectively.
