About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team. This is a fully remote position, offering a unique opportunity to optimize logistical processes and inventory management for their extensive FMCG product lines without being tied to a physical office. You will be crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from production to consumers, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and improving overall supply chain performance. This role demands a proactive problem-solver with excellent quantitative skills, capable of working independently and collaborating effectively with a geographically dispersed team to maintain the high standards our client sets in product availability and delivery speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in logistics and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce lead times, and minimize costs across the supply chain.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics, such as delivery performance, inventory turnover, and transportation costs.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and software to model scenarios and forecast demand.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes in a remote setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis or operations, preferably within the FMCG sector .
- Proficiency in supply chain software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data modeling capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a remote team environment.
