About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their globally distributed team, operating on a fully remote basis. This role is instrumental in optimizing the flow of goods and information throughout the supply chain for their diverse FMCG product lines. You will analyze complex supply chain data, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in logistics, inventory, and distribution.
- Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics (KPIs) and reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, manufacturing, sales) and external partners to streamline operations.
- Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business, or a related analytical field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG industry .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI software).
- Experience with supply chain planning and optimization software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote-first environment .
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results.
