Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and strategic Supply Chain Analyst to join their team, supporting operations across the UK from their Leeds hub. This role involves analysing supply chain data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. You will work closely with various departments to ensure a cohesive and optimized supply chain strategy. This position is ideal for an individual passionate about data-driven decision-making and process improvement within the complex world of logistics, working in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse supply chain data to identify performance bottlenecks, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key supply chain metrics (KPIs).
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to implement process improvements.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize carrying costs.
• Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Support strategic projects related to network design, S&OP, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience with supply chain planning software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
