Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their strategic operations team in Portsmouth . This role will involve analyzing complex data sets to identify opportunities for improving supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall performance. You will play a critical part in forecasting, inventory management, and process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of supply chain principles, and the ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning processes.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
• Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to align strategies.
• Evaluate supplier performance and contribute to sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a supply chain or logistics analysis role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI software.
• Understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
