About the Role

Our client, a leading force in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Supply Chain Director to lead their operations remotely. This critical role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience across all logistics, procurement, and inventory management functions. As a remote leader, you will leverage technology and strong communication skills to manage a dispersed team, drive strategic initiatives, and optimize supply chain performance to meet the ever-evolving demands of the market, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement from a distance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy , aligning with business objectives and market demands.
• Manage and optimize global procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory planning processes.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and improve operational efficiency throughout the supply chain.
• Implement and enhance supply chain technologies and systems for better visibility and control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, distributed supply chain team.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of extensive experience in supply chain management , with a significant portion within the FMCG industry .
• Proven ability to lead complex, international supply chains and manage large budgets.
• Expertise in supply chain planning software, ERP systems, and advanced analytics.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, adaptable to a remote environment.
