Supply Chain Director

About the Role

Our client, a leading international FMCG organization, is seeking an accomplished Supply Chain Director to lead and optimize their end-to-end supply chain operations. This critical remote role will oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience across the network. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance, mitigate risks, and support the company's growth objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy to support business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, manufacturing liaison, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Implement and manage robust inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with key suppliers, logistics providers, and co-packers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, leveraging data analytics and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and implement sustainable supply chain practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a significant portion in the FMCG sector .
• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives.
• Expertise in inventory management, logistics, procurement, and international trade.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in supply chain planning software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, suitable for a fully remote role.
