About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Supply Chain Manager to join their operations team in Bristol , offering a hybrid work arrangement. This role is responsible for optimising the company's supply chain, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from procurement to delivery. You will manage inventory, logistics, and supplier relationships to minimise costs and maximise efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain best practices, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain operations and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Implement and utilise supply chain management software and technologies.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to meet demand while minimising holding costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar logistics and operations role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management techniques.
- Experience with supply chain planning and optimisation software.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with remote and on-site teams.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is advantageous.
