Supply Chain Manager

About the Role

Our client, a leader in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Supply Chain Manager to oversee their operations in Belfast . This critical role involves managing the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution, ensuring seamless product flow and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key part in optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of logistics and operational management within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of products.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other supply chain partners.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols within the supply chain.
• Analyze supply chain performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar logistics and operations role, preferably within FMCG .
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including forecasting, inventory control, and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
