Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Supply Chain Optimization Engineer to enhance their logistics and operational flow in Bristol . This role is crucial for analyzing, designing, and implementing improvements across the entire supply chain, from procurement to distribution. You will leverage data analytics and engineering principles to identify inefficiencies, reduce costs, and increase speed and reliability within the supply network. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current supply chain operations to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement in efficiency and cost.
- Design and implement optimized supply chain strategies, including inventory management, logistics, and network design.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance and track progress towards targets.
- Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to model scenarios and forecast demand, informing strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain improvements.
- Lead projects focused on implementing new technologies or processes to enhance supply chain visibility and responsiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics optimization, or a related engineering role.
- Proven experience with supply chain modeling software and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, transportation logistics, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop data-driven recommendations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse functional teams.
