About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Supply Chain Planner to join their dynamic team, offering a fully remote working arrangement. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for products, utilising historical data and market insights.
- Plan and manage inventory levels across the supply chain to ensure product availability while minimising holding costs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Analyse supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimisation and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement inventory replenishment strategies to meet service level agreements.
- Monitor supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in demand forecasting techniques and inventory management strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Experience with supply chain planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Based in the UK, with a strong understanding of logistics networks.
