Supply Teaching Assistant – Croydon
Location: Croydon, South London Salary: £90–£100 per day Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary Start date: 21 September 2026
Transparency Education is recruiting an adaptable Supply Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Croydon. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced support professional who enjoys working across different year groups and can quickly become a dependable part of a school team.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you may support whole-class learning, lead small groups or provide focused help to pupils who need additional encouragement. The school offers clear routines, approachable leadership and a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
Your role will include:
Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 as required
Delivering teacher-planned activities to individuals and small groups
Helping pupils remain engaged, organised and ready to learn
Supporting children with SEND or additional learning needs where appropriate
Promoting positive behaviour and assisting with classroom preparation
We would like to hear from candidates with:
Recent primary-school or relevant childcare experience
The confidence to adapt quickly to different classes and routines
Strong communication, initiative and behaviour-management skills
A Level 2 or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification, desirable
The right to work in the UK
