Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Support Team Leader to manage and guide a dedicated care team in Brighton . This leadership role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to individuals, fostering an environment of respect, dignity, and independence. You will be responsible for supervising care staff, developing care plans, and ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of support workers, providing clear direction and feedback.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and review of individualised care and support plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct staff supervisions, training, and performance management.
- Act as a point of contact for families, external agencies, and stakeholders.
- Manage rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
- Significant experience in a care or support role, with proven leadership capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of care standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
