Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Support Team Leader to join their vibrant team in Bradford . This hybrid role involves leading and mentoring a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to individuals within the community. You will play a key role in service development, client well-being, and team performance, balancing operational duties with strategic oversight. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of support workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of care and support services, adhering to best practices and organisational policies.
- Conduct regular client assessments and reviews, developing and updating personalised support plans.
- Manage team rotas, staff sickness, and annual leave to ensure consistent service coverage.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues and staff queries, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to service development, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within health and social care.
- Strong understanding of care standards, safeguarding procedures, and person-centred planning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Proficiency in IT systems for reporting and communication.
