Support Worker - Community Services - No Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker to join their community services team in Sheffield . You will provide essential direct support to individuals in their own homes and within the local community, assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. This hands-on role requires a compassionate individual committed to person-centred care and making a positive impact within the South Yorkshire region. You will work closely with clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, domestic tasks, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Support clients in attending appointments and engaging in community activities.
• Follow individual care plans and report any changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar care role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.
