You'll be helping a young person with complex needs to live the life they choose, providing reassurance, support and companionship while ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the night. Working as part of a close-knit, supportive team, you'll build meaningful relationships and play a vital role in helping someone remain independent in their own home and community. What You'll Be Doing Supporting personal care, mobility and medication needs Promoting independence, choice and dignity Following personalised support plans Monitoring wellbeing and providing reassurance throughout the night Maintaining accurate records and documentation Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality support Building positive relationships based on trust, respect and understanding Supporting a safe and comfortable home environment What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is caring, patient and compassionate Enjoys building positive relationships with others Has a good sense of humour and enjoys being part of a team Remains calm and confident in different situations Is committed to delivering high-quality person-centred support Is willing to undertake training and become registered with the SSSC Experience in care is welcomed but not essential. Full training will be provided. Knowledge or experience of epilepsy or Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome would be advantageous but is not required.
