Support Worker

About the Role

RAL Community Care Ltd is currently recruiting Support Workers to join our team in Salisbury.

We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate individuals who have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in a healthcare, social care or care environment.

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and practical support to service users, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.

• Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required.

• Support service users with mobility and other care needs.

• Assist with nutrition, hydration and mealtimes.

• Provide emotional and practical support.

• Encourage service users to maintain their independence.

• Observe and report any changes in a service user's health or wellbeing.

• Follow individual care plans and support plans.

• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.

• Work effectively with nurses, senior carers and other healthcare professionals.

• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and infection control procedures.

• Respect the privacy, dignity, rights and choices of every service user.

• Report any concerns, incidents or safeguarding issues promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care role.

• A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual and professional.

• Ability to follow care plans and workplace procedures.

• Understanding of confidentiality, dignity and safeguarding.

• Willingness to complete required training and compliance checks.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Satisfactory pre-employment and compliance checks.

Pay & Benefits

• £12.71 – £13.00 per hour

• Flexible shift opportunities, subject to availability.
