Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for Support Workers to join our Supported Living service in Rockbeare , Devon. These are permanent roles working 36 hours per week, paying £13.00 per hour.
Shifts run across a varied pattern including days and sleep-ins, giving you a well-rounded role in a supportive team environment. Full training is provided, so no previous experience is needed - just the right values and a genuine desire to make a difference.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Warm, caring, and empathetic
- Positive, with a can-do attitude
- Passionate about enhancing other people's lives
- Willing to attend training and develop in their role
This role in Rockbeare might include supporting people with:
- Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
- Personal care and hygiene
- Finances and medication
- Going into the community for shopping, trips, and social activities
- Their social life and leisure interests
- 24 days’ holiday + bank holidays; increasing with length of service
