Job Description
Airmid
are now recruiting for reliable compassionate Support Workers
in the Portsmouth area
, for work supporting clients in Residential Settings in Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care
Be proactive with managing behaviour & de-escalation
Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means.
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a small team
Must be able to maintain a high level of care
Must be trained in Safety Intervention, PMVA, PBS or Control & restraint
Experienced in working with Learning Disabilities & ASD
Buccal Training & PEG Training would also be beneficial although not essential

Requirements
Right to work in the UK
6+ months of personal care experience
(hospital, nursing home, or home care)
DBS on update service
or willingness to obtain one
Basic Life Support & Moving/Handling training
Two professional references
