Support Worker – Tonbridge, Kent
Full Time (39 hours) & Part Time (30 hours) opportunities available. Salary: £25,845 per annum. Flexible shifts across all days. Full UK Manual Driving Licence & access to your own vehicle required.
About the role
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference in people's lives every day? This is a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker role to join a supportive team in Tonbridge. Great for those with or without care experience; full training provided.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and communication needs in daily activities
- Encouraging independence and community engagement
- Supporting social activities and helping maintain relationships with family and friends
- Assisting with shopping, household tasks and day-to-day living
- Supporting with personal care where required
- Helping create a positive, enjoyable and safe environment every day
- Driving service users using mobility vehicles where needed
What we're looking for
- Full UK manual driving licence – essential
- Access to your own vehicle – essential
- Flexible approach to working shifts across weekdays and weekends
- Positive, caring and reliable attitude
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential
Shift patterns
- 07:00am – 02:00pm / 04:00pm
- 02:00pm – 10:00pm
- 12:00pm – 04:00pm / 10:00pm
- No night shifts
