Job Description
Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting elderly adults with to live their daily lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible with them.
Our Shifts: 4 x 8 hour shifts (Contract) - 3pm to 11pm Driving License: No Contract: Temporary for 6 months - this may be extended or made permanent at a later date
What you will be doing Working with housing associations and local authorities, we provide care and support in purpose-built accommodation for older people, offering a home-from-home environment, with support on-hand when needed. You will have access to a wide range of facilities, services and activities, aimed at supporting you to maintain a great quality of life, as well as improving your health and wellbeing.
These include:
- 24-hour support
- Housing-related support
- Personal care, such as support with medication and to take care of your health and wellbeing.
- Meals - either assisted or prepared for you.
- Leisure and recreation activities.
- Domestic help.
- Support to build or maintain links with your community.
- Support to maintain relationships with family and friends.
Our Extra Care Services are all based in the heart of the community, with easy access to local shops, supermarkets and transport routes. We have 6 staff on during the day, three staff on an afternoon and two staff at night.
