Job Duties:
- Providing practical and emotional support to individuals in need.
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Supporting individuals with daily activities and encouraging their independence.
- Monitoring and recording individual progress and any changes in behaviour or health.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals.
Required Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
Education:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
Experience
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals.
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health issues.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Empathy and compassion towards others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- First Aid certification
- Driver Preferred
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Interaction with individuals with challenging behaviours.
- Potential exposure to bodily fluids.
- Adherence to strict health and safety guidelines
